The Arctis Nova 7 is the gaming headset reviewers recommend to people who do not want to think about it. The second generation runs over fifty hours on a charge, connects to the PC or console on its 2.4 GHz dongle and to a phone on Bluetooth simultaneously, so Discord and the game come through together, and the retractable mic is clear enough that nobody asks them to repeat things.
It lands for a gamer who is still on a wired pair with a cracked headband, a brother or boyfriend who plays after everyone is asleep, and a husband who takes work calls from the same desk he games at. The ski-goggle headband is why it stays comfortable through a long session.
Works with PC, PlayStation, Switch and phones through the dongle and Bluetooth; the Xbox version is a separate model. USB-C charging. It costs more than a basic headset and it is the last one they will need for years.
