This is the Glacier National Park stripe, the pattern from Pendleton's famous white blanket with its black, yellow, red, and green bands, reworked into a cushion a dog is allowed to sleep on. Instead of the beige bolster bed that gets dragged out of sight when guests arrive, the Napper reads as decor: crisp cream fabric, that iconic stripe sequence, and a leather-look Pendleton patch on the corner.
The cover zips off when it inevitably needs a wash, and the Large size gives a mid-sized dog room to fully sprawl instead of curl. It beats the pet store alternative on comfort and it demolishes it on looks: same nap, much better living room. Give it to the design-conscious friend whose dog already sleeps in the middle of everything; at least now the dog's spot will match the house instead of fighting it.
