The Crafting Box 4.0 is the LEGO Minecraft set built like the game: 605 pieces with instructions for three builds and the idea that you take them apart and make your own, with Steve, Alex, a creeper, a zombie and the animals. For a kid who plays Minecraft it is the first LEGO set that works the way their brain already does.
It is the Christmas gift for an eight to twelve-year-old who talks about Minecraft at dinner, the birthday present a gamer uncle gets right, and the set that gets rebuilt for months instead of sitting finished on a shelf.
Ages 8 and up on the box. It mixes with every other LEGO set and the figures are the ones kids trade. Eighty dollars for the set that lasts the whole Minecraft phase.
