Historically, mummies were the remains of dead nobles and leaders in ancient Egypt that were embalmed and wrapped in linens. Shortly after the discovery of King Tut, Hollywood and other cinema makers decided to turn Mummies into powerful undead beings that stalked the earth in search of revenge against those who disturbed their slumber and stole their prized treasures. While this used to be a costume traditionally worn by boys, someone was finally wise enough to create a Teen Mysterious Mummy costume like this one for young ladies.
